WHO IS THE BOSTON SPORTS SID?
The Boston Sports SID covers athletic contests and news of all Boston sports ranging from the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins to the small Division III institutions. The Red Sox and Patriots are currently the only two professional teams with their own weblogs but the Celtics and Bruins weblogs are currently under-construction. Regarding intercollegiate athletics the Boston College Eagles have their own Super Fans blog while the rest of Boston college and university athletics will be covered by a universal weblog. Currently under-construction.

I am aspiring to be Sports Information Director/Media Relations Director of an NCAA institution and currently do free-lance work with the Newbury College Nighthawks as well as the Boston College Eagles. I graduated from a small liberal arts college in Maryland, 30 minutes south of Gettysburg, Pa., McDaniel College in May, 2007 where I majored in political science and minored in journalism. As a four year sports reporter for the student-newspaper, The McDaniel Free Press my main beat was covering the men’s and women’s golf teams.
