About Me
I host a rock radio morning show in Topeka Kansas, Topeka's Rock Leader V100 (www.V100Rocks.com). I was born and raised here in Northeast Kansas. I love doing a rock radio morning show in my home town. I've been a Red Sox fan since the summer of 1986. I was 11 years old and playing little league on a team at the Ken Berry Baseball Park here in Topeka. I was on the Meriden State Bank Red Sox. I wasn't a Sox fan at the time but my dad took me to a Kansas City Royals game against the Red Sox to show me the major league team my little league team was named after. My life changed as soon as I saw Clemens throw te first pitch. I absolutly fell in love with the team from New England. I've been following them every since, over 20 years now. It was hard growing up a Sox fan out here in Kansas. Especially before the internet. My two best friends for keeping me up on the Sox were a young ESPN and the weekly SI magazine. Every year, as a kid, my grandmother would get me a new Red Sox baseball hat on my birthday because the one from the year before would be so worn out. I'm in my 30's now and she still orders me a Red Sox hat for my birthday.
