For the past nine seasons, Baseball Newstalgist Bill Chuck has been writing baseball. Long before the term “blog†existed, Bill has been blogging on the site Billy-Ball.com and his work has been quoted numerous times in Newsweek, the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, the Chicago Sun-Tribune, the San Francisco Examiner and newspapers around the world.
Bill Chuck, with Jim Kaplan, is the author of the book, “Walk-Offs, Last Licks, and Final Outs – Baseball’s Grand (and not so Grand) Finales†published by ACTA Sports in 2008 and excerpted on SI.com.
He is a regular contributor to Nick Cafardo’s national baseball notes column published each Sunday in the Boston Globe and appears frequently around the country on radio shows talking baseball.
His work as a minor league baseball promotions consultant was featured in an article in the New York Times. He has written on baseball for the Improper Bostonian.
He also co-authored “The Start of a Winning Seasonâ€, part of a Houghton Mifflin Companion Series for elementary school students and has contributed to MLB.com, FoxSports.com, NBCsports.com, Boston.com, YESNetwork.com, MSNBC.com, BaseballDigestDaily.com, BaseballDigest.com, DugoutCentral.com, and numerous other sites.
Bill Chuck is also the Communication Czar at B.Czar Productions writing web copy, performing presentation skills training, and serving as a marketing consultant.
