born and bred sox fan from the North Shore area who's destined to marry Mike Timlin :) If there's a family function on the same day as a Red Sox game, doesn't matter if its 4th of July Annaul BBQ, half of my family is in the living room, glued to the TV. As a kid, I didn't get it. I was into Barbie and 90210 until my Uncle took me to my first game when I was 13 or 14, then I understood it. I fell in love with the leisurely sport, and was fascinated by the passion in my family. My growing love for the Red Sox bonded myself to the rest of my family, especially my grandfather. This past season, I've reached my 5-year long goal to attend 1 game every month, although I missed a June game so doubled-up in August. I live for Soxtober, and don't know what to do with myself in the off-season.
