About Me
I am 51 years young and a lifelong red sox fan, both my parents were big sox fans. My Dad Was born in 1910 and he told me stories of going to The Park as a boy, he remembered 1918 and he always said he wanted to see them win it all one more time before he died, he never got the chance. He passed on in 1973, Never getting his wish. When he took me to the park as a boy, his favorite player was Louis Tiant, his animated style really made my dad smile, My mom was Born in 1923 and never thought she would see them win at all, My mom attended one or two games a year along with my sister up until she got too ill to go to the park, We loved our sox. Sis passed on in 97 never seeing them win, but mom watched on the tube with me in 04 as "her boys" kicked yankee butt and proceeded to win it all. She was overjoyed. She passed on last march and would have loved to have seen "her boys" do it again. Well Ma, Dad, and Sis, this ones for you. I'll tell ya, my kids don't realize how lucky they are.
