Name's Ashlee. Die-hard Sox fan, as we all are on here. I remember watching the '86 World Series with my mom when I was 3...it's my first baseball-related memory. I've been a Red Sox fan ever since. I'm a 24-year-old college student/artist, hoping to go into comic book illustration. I love music, art, baseball, football, hockey (Thank God for the addition of Cam Neely in the front office but PLEASE sell the Bruins!), and cartoons. The first Sox players I ever loved were Wade Boggs and Mike Greenwell, but once Tim Wakefield joined the team in 1995, I've been a massive fan of his ever since. He's the heart and soul of the Sox.
And regardless of how good of a hitter he is, I DO NOT WANT A-ROD ON THE RED SOX! He likes to think he's supposed to play bush league-style baseball and that's not what the Sox are about. So I'm hopin' to God that the Sox re-sign Mike Lowell, who has been one of the biggest assets to the Sox' success in 2007.
