This is an interesting story,  and those filing comments also have some varying opinions.

Yes,  part of it was due to the Celtics and Bruins having both extended their playoff seasons.    Yes,  the Sox had a bad time of it in April and May.

Could it be other things,   or are they contributing to the drop ?

- Has the frenzy over the Sox subsided a bit?

- Has NESN gone overboard with non-sports related programming (Charlie Moore,  "Sox Appeal",   and a few other shows)????

- Do you think the departure of popular on-air personalities such as Hazel Mae and Tina Cervasio have caught up with NESN?

- Sports overload?   Between WEEI, WBZ-FM,  NESN,  Comcast Sports,  several ESPN channels,  Versus,  and so on?
