Rain cut short John Lackey?s splendid start but it did not spoil the Red Sox? day, as they left town with a sweep in their 5-1 victory over the Twins.A three-hour rain delay, which began just as Lackey was to pitch the bottom of the seventh, meant the Red Sox bullpen was left in charge of the two-run lead Lackey and the just-enough offense left it.
