Gentleman,
I hate going to the doctor's. I hate getting physicals and I hate needles. I really hate hospitals. But I'm alive today because the Marine Corps requires me to have a full physical ever 5 years. I'm able to fight this Colon Cancer, with a good chance of beating it, because I got checked.
So gentleman please, suck it up and go to the doctor and get checked out. Put away your pride and stop being so tough. I'm 33 years old and in descent shape, and it is very rare for someone so young to have this type of cancer but it happened to me. Please get checked. It could save your life.
Right now I have completed two doses of chemo and have two more scheduled. The next dose is scheduled for Tuesday. After the 4th dose the doctors will reevaluate and see if the tumor can be removed surgically.
Currently, I'm bald. I look like a Marine Corps recruit. I've lost about 45 lbs. My spirits are high and I'm confident that I can beat this. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
I know this has nothing to do with baseball, so please forgive me. I needed to share this with all you.
