Everybody up! I don't care if your doing a simple finger dance, or an all out Jerry Remy air guitar stunt, I want you moving.
Go ahead. If you watched last nights season home opener, you know darn well that it deserves a victory dance (even if it's a small one).
Why you ask? I have many reasons.
1) The 2010 season is here! No more countdowns, no more snow (quick, someone knock on wood!), no more offseason! It's time for 162 games of baseball.
2) We wooooon! It was a great game to watch. It's nice seeing everyone start to get back into the swing of things (no pun intended...).
3) Kevin Youkilis and Dustin Pedroia owned.
And I'm sure there are many more reasons, but hell, that should be enough to get some of you up and moving around on a beautiful Monday morning.
On another note. How was everyone's Easter? I hope you all ate lots of ham and candy (just not together!). I showed up to my family's get together wearing my bright green Dustin Pedroia shirt, my B earrings, and my Sox bracelet. And I got the same reaction "AH! Another Red Sox fan!" that everyone wearing any sort of Red Sox garb gets.
Granted my family is all from MA, so they should know this by now.
Well my friends, my class starts in 12 minutes, I should probably shut down and make it look like I'm doing some productive.
Enjoy the beautiful weather, and even though there isn't a game on today, enjoy the baseball!
