Buzzworthy - Feature It!

Jason Bay makes a God blessed decision.

But its the wrong one.

The signs to the Mets for 4 years 66 million bucks! But blah blah freaking blah, everyone and their brother knows the stats by now and has some sort of opinion on the matter.

My opinion? What the crap man?! Is he serious with this? Psh! Honestly though, I think he made a mistake signing with the Mets. Now, I'm not anti-Mets..I'm anti bad, career altering decisions. The Mets, just like every team, goes out and hopes for the best and plays their hardest. But J-Bay, come on. The player-park relationship is all wrong!

Hate to say it, but I feel like he wont play to the best of his ability in Citi Field. His average is going to drop, and he's not going to be happy. All for another 6 mil and an option for 5 years.

Alright, alright, maybe I'm a little biased. Aren't we all?? I would have like to see him stay. Now there talk of putting Ellsbury in left and Cameron in center. No. No. No. All wrong. If Lowell stays on third, I'm afraid there wont be the proper amount of coverage on the left side of the field. It'd be just wrong, plain and simple. I'm not doubting either player's ability by any means, I just feel that Ellsbury's speed is put to better use in center.

But that leaves one big, burning question! Who's in left!?

There are still some good free agents out there. Johnny Damon anyone?

Ick, that was an attempt at a joke, and as an obvious Red Sox fan, I don't even find it funny. My bad. Keeping it.

Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, what do you think we should do to fill the empty hole in out hearts, I mean left field, Jason Bay left us with?

Jason Bay is a fine ballplayer and he will be missed. He has done a lot for the Red Sox and I really liked him. I hope it works out ofr him and that he has a lot of success. I just hope the Red Sox have much more success.
