Good God, my fellow Sawxheads, it's been a while, hasn't it. It's going to be interesting to see where this years gonna go. I mean, look at all those changes!
John Lackey, Mike Cameron...welcome. Expanding the budget for Bay. SCUTARO! But what about Lowrie? Talk of trading Ellsbury. Talk of moving Ellsbury to left and making Cameron center. Boof = greatest name ever. 2 Ramon Ramirezs?! Where's Mike Lowell going?
Lordy.
Those are just some of the issues Red Sox Nation is looking at. I say, we give Bay what he wants. 4 years at 60 mil was a fine deal, but apparently he wants more. Fine. Give it to him. He's a great player and teammate. I'd be happy to have him for 5 years.

I cannot wait to see how Scutaro is going to do in a Sox uniform. The shortstop position has been a, what did they call it, a 'revolving door', since Nomar left. Maybe Scutaro will be the solution to this problem. But if he is the solution, what about Jed Lowrie? Nick Green? True, Green is still a free agent, but I would like to see him back. He showed a lot of spunk. Yes, spunk. Also, what about Jose Iglesias. Im older than this kid! That's a scary thought. YIKES!
I tuned into Comcast Sports Network, or whatever it's called (it's called something different up at my school!) and I heard a rumor that one option was to move Ellsbury to left and put Cameron in center in the event we don't get Bay. Helllooooooooo no. With Ellsbury's speed and power, I think we want him in center. What do you think?
JOHN LACKEY. He's a great pitcher. I like him. He'll add another sucker punch to the kidneys in out rotation. But for all those Fitzy fans...below is a video I came across at work one day. Enjoy as only Fitzy fans will.
Alright fellow fans, I'm off to watch Band of Brothers of Spike. I might also paint my nails. If that isn't an oxymoron, I don't know what is.
I'm excited about the 2010 season and can't wait for it to start. The Red Sox will be very competitive and should have a great year. If everything falls in place we will be playoff bound again, if we make the tournament anything can happen. Go Red Sox!!!
