Buzzworthy - Feature It!
Red Sox Fanatic wrote this 2 years agoPermalink

Fellow Sawxheads, lend me your ears!!!  I come to you today in total disbelief and shock at what I have been reading on these hallowed pages.  The defeatism.  The negativity.  The complete and total lack of faith is appalling.  I can't believe those writing this bilge are Red Sox fans.

I know times are tough.  I know we are struggling.  I know things seem bleak.  During times like this we need to circle the wagons.  It's time to come closer.  It's time to cheer louder.  It's time to be prouder.  It's time to stick your chest out further.  It's time to declare we are Red Sox and we are better than you no matter.

Stop the complaining.  Stop being negative.  Our boys need us now, and we need to be sending positive thoughts to them and not this negative filth I've been reading.

We have seen hard times.  We have survived them, comeback, and prevailed.  We can do it again.  I believe in this team and in their fighting spirit.  I believe we can take the Yankees and the Rays.  I believe we will win the American League East.  I believe we will win the American League Championship.  I believe we will win the 2009 World Champions.

Who's with me!!!!!!!

Well said. Though Theo's less-than-stellar performance last week left a bad taste, nevertheless, I will never allow my faith in our boys to waiver. I am disappointed, they don't seem to be playing with a sense of purpose or urgency. However, God forbid that I be known as a fair-weathered fan. Nay, I shall stand behind our beloved Sox to the end!!!!

Skip Bayless on ESPN predicted Sox take 3-1 on the Yankees this weekend... not like I really side with his perspective - the Sox are NOT out of this race whatsoever, but I think the potential threat of being 6.5 back after this weekend is daunting. Stop doubting our team and they will pull through when you least expect it!!! Smoltz will have a GREAT outing tonight, because ... well.... he has to. His seasons on the line as well. ...View More

Im one of those "Negative" people...i have faith in our boys but i honestly do not with our newer Pitchers...an sumtimes when i tink negative an we do end up wit a win...it makes it more special...an if we lose...well im not as dissapointed

If any team can do it we can. If we ever needed a four game sweep of the Yankees now it the time.
