I haven't posted a blog in a long time on this site. It's a snowy Friday evening, everything has ground to a halt here in upstate NY, and in a lot of other places, too (I know that Massachusetts was in slowdown mode--snow days for school kids, non-essential state workers stayed home, etc.), and I have my mind on baseball. So I just wanted to say happy holidays to everyone--Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, happy Kwanzaa, whatever you celebrate--to all my Sawxheads friends. I particularly hope that anyone who has lost his or her job over the last few very difficult months finds one soon. Just remember--I lost my job in 2007, was out of work for eight months at the age of 59, but kept plugging, so it's possible. Hard, but possible. I will be thinking about all of you as we go through this beautiful season. And it will, indeed, be a white Christmas here..."Where the treetops glisten, and children listen, to hear sleigh bells in the snow..."
Here's to snow on the ground now, baseball on the diamond in April!!!
