  Some baseball statistics are designed to enlighten, others are used to support or refute an argument. But sometimes, statistics are simply presented for the sheer enjoyment, In this case, I hope you will find all three uses.   Here are 25 items on players who were 25 and under by June 30, 2009 and have played in at least 300 games or pitched in at least 80 games.   Enjoy!  
  • Jeff Francoeur (January 8, 1984) has the most at bats with 2,742. He is followed by Prince Fielder (May 9, 1984) who has 2,380 and Ryan Zimmerman (September 28, 1984) who has 2,363.
  • Matt Kemp (September 23, 1984) has has the highest batting average at .299. He is followed by James Loney (May 7, 1984) at .295 and Brian McCann (February 20, 1984) at .293.
