Two years removed from trading Manny Ramirez, jersey number 24 is still being occupied in Boston.
Manny Ramirez can’t sell his gorgeous $7.5 million dollar palace at the Ritz Residences. For a “reasonable” price, the 4,421 square foot penthouse apartment comes with a trustworthy housekeeper, a Fenway nursery, close proximity to the luxurious Jer Ne restaurant, the Loews on Tremont, and white chocolate decadence, comparable to a glass house museum.
A stone-throw away from Downtown Crossing, the apartment’s been for sale on and off for a few years, and the latest price is set higher than before. Not a good real estate move if you want to sell. But after disposing of 2 real estate companies, Carmella Laurella from Otis & Ahern is confident this time, “the family is very serious about selling now.” She adds “it is one of the five most fabulous apartments in Boston.”
If someone actually does buy it, can they wrap the entire thing in plastic wrap and save it for medical research? Does it come with a Hall of Really Good Players invite when Ramirez finally gets the nod?
