Congratulations Jim! Bless you. You made it. I work security for TSA in Portland, Oregon. Last Saturday, just before you got the call, I met Rick Wise and his wife, leaving for a "Red Sox" cruise. We spoke about you and all hoped and prayed you would finally receive your ticket to the Hall. He was wearing his 1975 AL Championship ring. I know you and Fred Lynn were rookies that year. Well, to me that was the good sign that this 108th year of Red Sox history, the third in a trilogy of left fielders from Ted-Carl- and now you would meet in that sacred place in upstate NY.
