RECENTLY IT WAS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT SOMEONE TOOK THE LIBERTY OF CARVING "GO YANKEES" IN THE FRESHLY POURED CEMENT IN FRONT OF UNO'S DOWN BY FENWAY ON THE CORNER OF BROOKLINE AND BEACON!

WELL.....AS I SAID I WOULD......I TOOK IT UPON MYSELF TO GO CHECK IT OUT AND SEE WHAT I COULD DO TO FIX IT! SO TODAY WHILE I WAS ALREADY IN THE BOSTON AREA LOOKIN AT A JOBSITE......I VENTURED OVER TO THE FENS AND BEGAN LOOKING! AT FIRST I COULDNT FIND IT......BUT AFTER WALKIN ALL AROUND......I FOUND IT HALF COVERED BY ICE!

I WENT OVER TO THE DUNKIN DONUTS AND GOT A BIG CUP OF HOT WATER......THE GUY GAVE IT TO ME FOR FREE AFTER I TOLD HIM WHAT IT WAS FOR! I THEN POURED THE HOT WATER OVER THE ICE......SO TO UNCOVER THE WHOLE DISGUSTING WORD......"YANKEES"!

THEN I SAW A METER MAID, SO I ASKED HER WHERE THE CLOSEST HOME DEPOT OR HARDWARE STORE WAS......SHE SENT ME UP BROOKLINE! AFTER NOT SPOTTING ONE BY THE TIME I GOT TO BEST BUY, I WENT IN AND ASKED THEM! THE GUY THERE TOLD ME TO TAKE THE 8 BUS TO THE SOUTH BAY MALL.......BUT WHILE WAITING, I NOTICED AN ARTS STORE! SO I WENT IN THERE.....TO WHICH AFTER EXPLAINING MY DILLEMMA, THE GIRL THERE SAID THERES A TRUEE VALUE AROUND THE CORNER ON BEACON! SO, I WALKED THERE! WHEN I GOT THERE I EXPLAINED AGAIN WHAT THE ISSUE WAS TO THE KID WITH A SOX CAP ON.....HE SHOWED ME WHAT TO GET AND I DID,FOR ONLY 2 BUCKS!

SOOOOOOOOO....BACK OVER TO THE CORNER I WENT! THE METERMAID WAS NEARBY AND WHEN I WALKED BY HER....SHE SAID...."LOOK, DO IT QUICK BECAUSE U MAY GET IN TROUBLE FOR THAT" SO, I SAID THANKS AND HEADED OVER! IT WAS STARTIN TO GET LATE IN THE DAY, SO THE FOOT TRAFFIC WAS PICKIN UP.....SO I DID THE BEST I COULD DO AS FAST AS I COULD! BUT I AM PROUD TO SAY......THAT THE DISGUSTING WORD IS NO LONGER VISIBLE! IT ISNT PRETTY......BUT ITS MUCH BETTER THAN HAVING TO LOOK AT SOME JERKS HANDYWORK OF THE ENEMIES TEAM! IF SOMETHING SHOULD HAPPEN AND ITS UNCOVERED.......I WILL FIX IT AGAIN! BUT HERE IT IS............
